Denmark to help Philips with its telemedicine case study
Technology company Philips will now help to create evidence for telemedicine in a major pan-European study. The administrative region of Southern Denmark, Region Syddanmark, and the University Hospital of Odense will also take part. The conclusion will be used to map out where Phillips should bet on telemedicine.

One criticism that is often heard about telemedicine is that it is difficult to prove that it’s a good idea in socio-economical terms. Generally, because there are so few studies. However this looks set to change with a major pan-European study,which includes participants such as the administrative region of Southern Denmark, Region Syddanmark, and health-technology firm Philips.
