The departing CEO of Santaris Pharma explains why the Board has chosen to bring in American Don deBethizy as the new head of the company – and tells the story of one of the biggest deals in the company’s history.

The Danish drug company Santaris Pharma has delivered a steady stream of news as of late, but somewhere along the line there was a prominent change in the press releases, as Henrik Stage was no longer listed as the CEO of the company, his name having been replaced by that of US biotech entrepreneur Don deBethizy.
