EU acts to suspend hundreds of generic drugs
Due to documentation deficiencies and misrepresentation of data at lab facilities in India, the European Medicines Agency will suspend hundreds of generic medicines sold in Europe. Several Danish companies are involved in the case, which is now on the EU Commission’s table.

Inspections carried out by Dutch and Austrian authorities in February 2016 have shown that a large number of drugs tested by the Indian contract research organization (CRO) Micro Therapeutics Research Lab have not lived up to the rules of good clinical practice (GCP).
