Össur buys German prosthetics company
Icelandic prosthetics manufacturer Össur has brought out the checkbook for the second time this year. This time it takes control of a German rival.

Following years of low activity on the M&A front, it looks like the Icelandic prosthetics maker Össur is starting to stir. For the second time in six months, the company has announced the acquisition of a rival. This time the company takes control of Germany’s Medi Prosthetics, the Icelandic firm said in a press release Wednesday.
