Novo Nordisk spends 48 million on parking spaces

Novo Nordisk is no stranger to big numbers. Its profit must be counted in double-digit billions and the number of workers on its payroll surpasses 41,000. Now, the Danish diabetes group has purchased a plot of land of 71,670 square meters from the municipality of Ballerup for the total consideration of DKK 48.19 million. The reason? The many employees at the company’s research and development campus in Måløv need more parking spaces, Novo Nordisk tells MedWatch.
