Pfizer strengthens ties with Danish municipalities

It began with a partnership between one municipality and the US drug group Pfizer, financed by the so-called Satspuljen, but at the turn of the year 27 new municipalities will – inspired by that project – begin their own smoking cessation project, offering to pay for medicine to long-time smokers wanting to quit. The funding of DKK 27.5 million comes from the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
