Novo: A step back in terms of diversity
Lise Kingo’s departure from Novo Nordisk does not tie in well with the company’s diversity ambition. But the group still expects to fulfill its ambitions in the long run, communications chief Mike Rulis says, adding that Lise Kingo could have stayed on.

Lise Kingo has left Novo Nordisk, but she could have stayed on with the company – albeit in a different role – says communications chief Mike Rulis. He also concedes that her departure does not tie in well with Novo Nordisk’s long-term ambition to ensure greater diversity across all management layers.
