Is Coloplast going for its rival’s spoils?
Rumors about a possible break-up of operations in Coloplast’s US rival Smith & Nephew are increasing in strength. Such a move could have great significance for the Danish medtech outfit as well, says stock market analyst Niels Leth of SEB Enskilda.

Coloplast has been trailing its international rivals in one of its core areas, wound care, for some years now. It was not until the first quarter of 2014 that the Danish medtech outfit managed to turn around its sluggish or even negative development.
