EU project should bring artificial hand on the market
A prosthetic hand that enables its owner to feel a handshake for the first time has yet to garner commercial interest, but a chunk of money from the EU is set to change all that, says a Danish scientist.

It created quite a buzz last week as the news of an international team of scientists who had created a prosthetic hand that can feel pressure and pass the information on to the user through electrodes in the nerve paths, thus enabling the user to ‘feel’ what he or she is holding, surfaced.
