New colon cancer technology in the making

Bispebjerg Hospital, Rigshospitalet, Unisensor, and 2cureX has entered into a research collaboration backed by a grant of USD 2.2 million from The Danish Advanced Technology Foundation.

Medtech company 2cureX raised fresh capital recently and now The Danish Advanced Technology Foundation is also ready with a huge chunk of money for the company to be used in the search for an improved treatment for aggressive colon cancer.

“A life-prolonging and in some cases life-saving medical treatment for patients with aggressive colon cancer requires a early initiation of an effective effort using a cocktail of drugs tailored to the individual cancer patient,” The Danish Advanced Technology Foundation writes in a press release.
