Danish professor granted millions for brain research

A new research project aims to move closer to a method for slowing the growing number of occurrences of CNS diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Dementia with Lewy Bodies, and Parkinson’s disease. Leif Østergaard, clinical professor at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Center for Functionally Integrative Neuroscience (CFIN), at Aarhus University and his research group has received a grant of DKK 12.7m (USD 2.3m) for the work.
