Analyst Peter Aabo from Nordic Bio Investor has more faith in a type of prostate cancer vaccine being developed by US rival Dendreon, than he has for a drug from Bavarian. But the main challenge for the Americans – the high cost of manufacturing – could give the Danes an edge.

Danish company Dandrit is developing a cancer vaccine, as is another Danish company, Bavarian Nordic. US company Dendreon’s own vaccine, Provenge, has disappointed, while Johnson & Johnson’s Zytiga is performing great.
