Danish biotech to go it alone
A Danish biotech has bought out its US partner for a million dollars and will develop its pipeline – which includes a promising diabetes candidate – alone in the future.

Danish biotech Nordic Bioscience, headed by founder and Chairman, Claus Christiansen, will go it alone with its drug development. The company has recently bought out its US partner, Unigene, from a collaboration pertaining to three drug candidates for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis respectively.
