Danish drug company tops global survey

600 patients associations from all over the world have assessed  29 different drug companies' ability to meet the expectations of patients, and a Danish company has come out on top.

The Danish company Lundbeck is great at meeting the expectations of patients. That is the general conclusion of a global survey, in which 600 patients associations from 56 countries have assessed a range of pharmaceutical firms, based on a number of different parameters.

The Danish pharma outfit tops the list of 29 companies ahead of Novartis, Gilead Sciences, Janssen and Pfizer. In 2011 Novartis secured the top honours, while the Danes came in third.
