CEO: international outlook is needed to secure capital
Kissing a whole bunch of frogs in the hope of finding a prince might not be the way to go, says the CEO of Medicon Valley Alliance, about the roles of the Danish state and venture capital market in investing in new biotech companies. An international outlook can help bridge the gap over “the valley of death”.

Companies that have a difficult time attracting capital are bound to complain about a lack of capital in general. But it does not mean that the perceived lack of capital is real, says Stig Jørgensen, CEO of the Danish biotech cluster-organization Medicon Valley Alliance.
