Swedish medtech giant wins Danish order

The Swedish medtech company Elekta is making its presence felt on the Danish market for cancer treatment with new orders from two Danish hospitals. Nordea sees the share as a strong buy.

Danish cancer patients treated at Odense University Hospital and Vejle Hospital will now gain access to brand new radiation technology.

An order from the two hospitals will help improve the stereotactic cancer treatment. The order comes from the Swedish medtech company Elekta, the technology of which will enable the hospitals to reduce the total duration of treatment, according to Knud Aage Werenberg, chief physicist at Odense University Hospital.
