
One of the blockbusters of the food supplements industry, vitamin D, has no effect whatsoever on a cold or a flu, writes Danish newspaper Søndagsavisen, referring to a new clinical study.
As summer wanes and sunlight becomes scarce many people will start taking vitamin D supplements, especially in this part of the world. But it seems it has no real effect when it comes to combating disease.
