The pharmaceutical flagship Novo Nordisk is the Danish company that yields the biggest operating profit, but there are also lesser known names in the top ten, according to an analysis that Dansk Aktie Analyse has compiled on behalf of Medwatch’s partner Jyllands-Posten.

Lundbeck is second on the list with an operating profit of almost DKK 4 billion in 2011 and an EBIT margin of 21 %. Stock analyst Søren Løntoft Hansen from Sydbank assesses the company to assume this position in 2012 as well, albeit with a somewhat lower result than in 2011.
