The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation gives millions to a renowned Danish researcher in his search for an artificial neurotransmitter. The neurotransmitter is to be made into a diet pill that will convince the brain that a person is full.
Danish researchers are looking for the neurotransmitters from the human colon that inform the brain that we are full. The right molecule could lead to a diet pill that gives a feeling of satiety.
