
It could increase the risk of blood clots significantly, if patients use the pain killing NSAIDs, according to research from Aarhus University Hospital and University of Aarhus.
“The results showed that the risk of developing a blood clot in the legs or in the lungs more than doubles in the patients who use NSAIDs,” says Morten Schmidt, doctor and Ph. D. student at Aarhus University Hospital and University of Aarhus in a press release.
