The Danish hearing devices company Widex has won the prestigious European Inventor Award 2012. The award was given to the company based on the patent behind their Camisha technology – a special technology for manufacturing individually custom-fitted hearing devices.

“We are very proud to win this award, especially considering the competition from strong technologies such as Bluetooth and Roche’s diagnostics test for heart attacks. This award highlights our position as a technological leader,” says Jan Tøpholm, CEO in Widex, in a press release.
