”It’s up to us, so let’s do it”

The place was buzzing when Northern Europe’s biggest rehab fair kicked off this morning. Welfare technology and private-public collaboration are important issues at this year’s fair.

Wheel chairs, clothes, bicycles, sporting equipment and food. It might as well be a description of your average Danish shopping mall, but most of the goods are distinguished by being developed for people with special needs.

For the first time ever Dansk Rehab Gruppe (Danish Rehab Group) is the sole organizer of the fair - which takes place in Bella Center, Copenhagen and is the biggest of its kind within the social and health sectors – and perhaps that is what made chairman Tommy Jensen place a heavy burden on the shoulders of the exhibitors.
