Novo Nordisk postpones launch of intelligent insulin pens
Novo Nordisk was supposed to launch two intelligent insulin pens in the US and EU this year. Now, the Danish drug group calls in the products, which means that a broader launch will not happen before 2020 - one year later than planned.
In October 2018, Novo Nordisk announced that the launch of two intelligent durable insulin pens would begin in 2019. Until then, the pens had been pilot tested on the Swedish market. However, the Danish drug group now postpones the global launch of the products to the beginning of 2020 earliest.
