Japanese conglomerate Fujifilm has high expectations for the Danish factory the subsidiary Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies acquired in mid-March for DKK 5.9 billion (approximately USD 890 million).

"The owners have been very public. They have set a financial goal for us: They want us to be a billion-dollar turnover company by March 2024. With this purchase, that will happen earlier,” says Steve Bagshaw, CEO in Fujifilm Diosynth, to MedWatch.
