William Demant invests in implant business: "One of the best opportunities for the company"
Danish hearing device group William Demant has made substantial investments to pick up pace with the implant division, Oticon Medical, after an unimpressing result in 2018. The company will only focus on profitable markets and getting access to the US, says the CEO.
Although sales of hearing devices generate the majority of William Demant's total revenue, most of the growth potential is located elsewhere - in the company's implant division, Oticon Medical, that includes implants and bone-anchored systems.
