Denmark's Ambu has dug deep into its pockets and acquired the Kissing, Germany-based company Invendo Medical in a multi million-dollar deal, it says in a stock market release.

Invendo Medical was founded in 2002 and the company currently employs 35 people. The company has developed the world’s first single-use gastrointestinal platform. The acquisition gives Ambu access to a market with approximately 70 million procedures annually.
