WS Audiology plans to beat competition by way of younger target group – launches hearing aid designed like Apple earbuds

Hearing aid company WS Audiology is the first established industry player to present a hearing aid designed as the type of earbuds which for example Apple has been hugely successful with. The goal is to attract younger customers to the shop, according to the firm, which calls the new product an "actual paradigm shift".

On Monday, the world's third-largest hearing aid manufacturer hearing aid firm WS Audiology launched a new hearing aid which is based around recent technology, and which is one of the first products to be designed as earbuds – a design which tech giants like Apple and Samsung already scrape in big money from.

WS Audiology has developed a new form factor by the name of Signia Active Pro, which is developed from the basis of the company's Xperience chip platform, which can easily be popped into the ear like an earplug.
