Problem with Roche equipment leads to wrong results: “We haven’t cracked the code to avoiding individual mistakes”
The Danish department of Roche Diagnostics has informed users about problems with equipment that measures the level of antibiotics used to treat serious bacterial infections. A “best possible method” approach has been established to reduce risk, the company says.
The Danish branch of the diagnostics side of the medicinal and pharmaceutical company Roche has stated that there is a problem with equipment used in eight Danish hospitals.
