Novo Nordisk will use computer models for diabetes drug discovery
Danish Novo Nordisk has entered a research collaboration with an Oxford-based biotech company that uses artificial intelligence and advanced computer models for drug discovery. During the next year, the companies will look for new treatments of a "specific area of type-2 diabetes".
Novo Nordisk hopes to identify new treatment options for the lifestyle disease type 2 diabetes, and for that purpose the Danish drug group has entered a research collaboration with UK-based biotech company E-Therapeutics.
