New medtech alliance to help companies achieve US breakthrough
Too many small Danish medtech firms face difficulties establishing themselves on the US market. A new initiative, Medtech Bridge, aims to change this situation supported by a million-investment from the Danish Industry Foundation.
The fact that it is difficult obtaining US approval of new medtech devices is hardly surprising. Still, Jørgen Hansen, CEO in Danish company Mermaid Care, was taken aback by how complicated it was.
