Kirsten Drejer upon goodbye to her life's work: "I'm still part of Symphogen's DNA"

Kirsten Drejer has left the board of directors in Symphogen, the company she founded in 2000 and managed for 16 years. She says goodbye due to the need for a leader who is ready for carrying out an IPO. However, she still feels closely connected to the company.

When Kirsten Drejer stepped down from the board of directors in Symphogen this week, she also said her last goodbye to the company she co-founded 18 years ago.

For the first time ever, the biotech company will have to do without the woman who served as CEO for more than one and a half decade and, according to Deputy Chairman Jeppe Christiansen, is "the lifeblood of Symphogen".
