Novo Nordisk: No decision on layoffs yet
Novo Nordisk will soon present a cost-cutting plan, but according to the company it is "too early to say anything concrete" about the plans and how much they will include layoffs. At the same time, the company rejects reports about a hiring freeze, but points out that recently there have been procedures put in place in terms of filling vacant positions.
Novo Nordisk is working on a cost-cutting plan, which will be discussed in a yearly strategy meeting later this month. The plan will most likely be presented in connection with the company's interim financial reports in August.
