Novo Seeds starts new consulting company: "The need is huge"
Novo Seeds has started the company Biorigin, which with a number of experienced life science people attached, will serve as an advisory unit for the Seed fund. "The need is huge and also bigger than the small initiative we have started with here," says Senior Partner Stephan Christgau.
Last Thursday, Novo Seeds, which is in charge of the early investment initiatives for the private equity fund Novo Holdings, formally launched a new advisory department for life science companies in the early stages. It will be placed in the company Biorigin, which is owned and financed by Novo Seeds, however, it will be operated independently from the fund.
