ALK in digital venture for direct contact with allergy sufferers

Allergy group ALK has established a new business division, which will sell products and services directly to allergy sufferers, among other things.

Allergy group ALK has established a new business division, which will use an increased amount of digital dialog to get in contact with potential customers earlier in the course of the disease. Mads Lacoppidan is head of the new division.

When the allergy and immunotherapy company ALK presented its annual report recently, it was based on the company's new growth strategy, which was presented to the public in December last year by CEO Carsten Hellmann.

Central to the strategy, is the establishment of a new so-called consumer care division, which will be in charge of furthering digital dialog with allergy sufferers and helping allergy specialists to ensure more patients completing treatment. The division will be an independent unit however, it will remain close to the core business.
