
The Danish medtech group Ambu dug deep into its pockets when the biggest acquisition deal in the company's history was signed recently.
For the tidy sum of EUR 225 million (approximately USD 261 million), the Danish group now owns the private German medtech company Invendo Medical which, like Ambu itself, is developing single-use endoscopes. The acquisition gives Ambu access to a market with approximately 70 million gastrointestinal procedures annually.
