A small Danish medtech company focusing on the allergy area, Rhinix, is working with the Danish general consulate in New York in an effort to find a strategic partner in the US. The company has developed a nasal filter against hay fever, and the new partner should help launch that product in the States in 2014.

“It could be a strategic partner or it could be an investor. It’s still in the open – both scenarios are in play. Capital from existing shareholders could also be an option, we, the owners, certainly wouldn’t say no to that,” CEO, Peter Kenney Hansen, tells Medwatch.
