Medicine bills for developing countries will be through the roof

The world’s 16 developing countries will account for just about a third of the world's total medicine demand by the end of 2016, reveals a new report.

Powered by China, India, Brazil and Russia the 16 developing countries will account for approximately a third of the world’s medicine demand by the end of 2016. That’s the indication of a new report from IMS Institute for Healthcare Informatics according to Aktiefokus.

It is a significant increase from 2011, when this group of countries only accounted for 20 % of the world’s total medicine consumption.
