On Tuesday morning, AJ Vaccines oriented its Copenhagen-based employees that up to 40 of them may lose their jobs by the end of the month, which the vaccine manufacturer confirms to MedWatch.

"Today, we informed our employees that we're planning to put part of our production on temporary hold in order to optimize the production process of our TdaP vaccine (tetanus, diphteria, whooping cough (pertussis), -ed.). The aim is to strengthen the company's competitive capacity," AJ Vaccine writes in an email to MedWatch.
