New director to make Boston the US center of Danish life science

Earlier this year, the Danish state opened a new innovation center in Boston to facilitate cooperation between the Danish and US life science environment. Now, a newly-appointed director is to organize the strategic work.

In January, Denmark opened a new innovation center in the US life science hub Boston and now, the Ministry of Higher Education and Science has appointed the director, who is to lead the initiative.

The new director is Joan Hentze, who has many years of experience with life science from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and The Danish Trade Council. Her latest position was Deputy Consul General in New York and Director of Life Science in North America.
