Danish healthtech firm wins trademark dispute with regional authority

Danish Visikon has won a three year long dispute with Region of Southern Denmark. The center of dispute is the name of the company's digital platform for patients and healthcare professionals. The responsible for the region's health app regrets nothing.

A long, costly dispute between two health app providers is finally over.

The Danish Patent and Trademark Office recently ended a three year long conflict between Danish healthtech company Visikon and the regional authorities in Region of Southern Denmark. Both parties have developed an app for patients and healthcare professionals and since 2014, both apps have carried the same name: 'My Treatment.'
