Two researchers from Danish Leo Pharma have an extra reason to smile these days. They have been awarded Innovation Fund Denmark's Innovator of the Year 2019 Award, an annual award for ground-breaking research creating special value for the Danish society.

"We are of course extremely honored that Innovation Fund Denmark acknowledges that we add value to society. It's an amazing feeling. But it's also really cool that we celebrate innovation this way, and I'm also honored on behalf of Leo Pharma. After all, they created the framework that made this possible," says Karsten Petersson, one of the prize winners, to MedWatch.
