Medicines Agency opens for applications for risk sharing pilot project

Danish Medicines Agency has initiated the search for two drugs for a pilot scheme to evaluate financial risk sharing between drug groups and the Danish state.

The pilot scheme was announced for the first time in March 2018 as part of the government's growth plan for life science. It entails that the Danish state will reimburse the selected drugs for a defined group of patients while the drug groups undertake to cover the reimbursement costs when doctors prescribe the drug for patients outside the defined target group.
