Denmark to start experiment with risk sharing by new year

From new year, a three-year pilot scheme is to evaluate financial risk sharing between the Danish state and medical companies applying for general reimbursement of their products.

The pilot scheme was announced for the first time in March as part of the government's growth plan for life science. If the majority of the Danish parliament votes in favor of the bill, the project will be implemented by new year and evaluate the prescriptions of two drugs entitled to reimbursement.
