Coloplast managers on digital ostomy bags, catheters and patches: "It's the future"

Digital products, warning about leaks and notifying the user about needs for changing, create new and complex challenges for Coloplast and form the basis for future growth at the same time. This is according to the company's CEO and SVP, Global R&D.

This week, Danish medtech giant Coloplast announced a new focus on developing products with digital benefits to be launched for the first time in 2020.

According to the company, it is already working on an ostomy bag that warns about leaks and notifies the user when it is time for changing the baseplate.
