Denmark to participate in international Horizon scanning program

The Danish government allocates DKK 54 million (USD 8.46 million) to ensure Danish participation in a new international program to obtain information about future drugs. The pharmaceutical procurement service Amgros and the Danish Medicines Agency welcome the initiative.

Denmark should play an active role in the establishment of a new international collaboration on predicting new medical treatment opportunities and their effects and costs.

This is the goal of the Danish government that has allocated DKK 54 million on the Budget for financing the Danish participation in the collaboration, which is initiated by the Benelux countries The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.
