Robotics firm ready to launch its first rehab robot in Danish hospitals

Danish robotics firm Robert has built a robot for assisting bedridden patients with physical therapy exercises. It will now be tested in two Danish hospitals and be marketed throughout Europe.

Three years ago, the people behind Danish robotics firm Robert won an entrepreneurial award for developing a robot capable of assisting in physical therapy exercises and sustaining muscles, joints and blood circulation.

The company is now ready with a thoroughly tested and and improved version, which will be sent out to European hospitals over the next few months.
