Family business sold for millions: ”We are moving into a whole new league”

Recently, the Copenhagen-based family business Tarius, that provides regulatory consulting for pharmaceutical companies all over the world, was sold to the US giant IQVIA. The CEO is gleeful.

Shortly after New Year, the Danish company Tarius cracked open the champagne once again. The company, owned by the Lindholst family, was recently sold to the US Human Data Science company IQVIA, previously known as IMS Health and Quintiles.

“It is an amazing opportunity for a small Danish company to obtain an even stronger global position. IQVIA operates in all the markets that are interesting to us,” says Thomas Lund, CEO in Tarius.
