Zealand sees big potential for SBS drug

Zealand Pharma sees a significant potential for the candidate drug glepaglutide for treatment of short bowel syndrome (SBS), which has just delivered promising phase II results. The biotech company plans to win approval and market the drug on its own, hoping it can compete with a similar product from Shire, says CEO Britt Meelby Jensen.

NNE henter amerikansk landechef fra Novo

Novo Nordisks ingeniørselskab NNE har fået ny landechef i USA, efter den tidligere landechef sagde op for at blive finansdirektør i den danske allergikoncern ALK. Vedkommende er hentet i Novo-familien.

Lægemiddelstyrelsen er skuffet, men glad for bronzen

Lægemiddelstyrelsens direktør Thomas Senderovitz er skuffet over, at København ikke skal huse EMA, men også stolt over at have snuppet "bronzemedaljerne". Han påpeger dog også, at der ligger masser af arbejde forude i forbindelse med flytningen af lægemiddelagenturet.
